The following document is a USB flash drive shaped like an item of food, in this case, a snack (Cookie), which falls into the category of creative promotional gift USB drives.
The flash drives themselves are made from PVC material, and as such, support a wide range of custom storage capacity options (i.e. 4GB, 8GB, etc.) and logo customization. Companies will often create promotional gift USB drives to use as a tool for advertising their brand or product.

The USB memory stick provides several types of promotional materials for the Snickers brand, including several short video clips that comprise the Snickers “Office Hunger Challenge,” discount coupons only available through the promotion, and a brand development story booklet.
Sales in Just One Store increased by 28% during the promotion period as a direct result of sending out the USB sticks (the messaging and the “creative design” of the USB sticks created a large amount of conversations, and subsequently sharing via social media).
The strategy used in this promotional campaign was to give away the USB sticks and link the stick to the Snickers brand product by providing links to other relevant types of media (e.g., Snickers’ brand messaging).
i.e., Custom engraving on the USB sticks was done with the specific name of the company and logo. This created an even higher level of exclusivity for our customers who received them.
Lastly, there was an opportunity to keep the customers engaged with the brand by including QR codes that would link customers to an exclusive membership group where they could receive additional long-term benefits (e.g., samples). As part of the campaign, subscribers were encouraged to share the USB stick design on social media platforms to create a viral marketing effect, thereby encouraging other potential customers to share with their friends and family.
