What are the charges for importing USB flash drives to Malaysia?

　　Customs Duty:Normally,the import customs duty rate for USB flash drives is 0%.

　　Sales Tax:Imported USB flash disks are subject to sales tax,which is usually at a rate of 6%.Low-value imported USB flash drives sold through the internet,i.e.those with a value not exceeding RM500,will be subject to a 10%sales tax from January 1,2024 onwards.

　　Transportation Costs:Includes the cost of shipping by sea,air or road from China to Malaysia,depending on the mode of transportation,weight,volume and distance of the shipment.

　　Transportation Insurance:The cost of providing insurance coverage for the goods in transit to protect them from loss or damage during transportation.

　　Unloading Charges:The charges incurred for unloading the goods at the quay,crane charges,barge charges,wharf construction charges,wharf rental charges,etc.upon arrival of the goods at the Malaysian port.

　　Customs declaration fees:service fees paid to the customs broker or freight forwarder for the import declaration procedures,including the preparation and submission of customs declaration documents,communication and coordination with customs.

　　Warehousing costs:If the goods need to be warehoused in Malaysia after import,you also need to pay the corresponding warehousing costs.
