  Types of NAND flash memory storage

  · Triple-Level Cell (TLC), which can store three bits per cell.

  Difference between SLC, MLC, TLC, and QLC

  It may not be possible to distinguish these chips in terms of speed and capacity alone. However, there are other ways to tell the difference.

  The easiest way to identify a chip is to look at the ID number of the chip. However, if you are a regular customer, it may not be possible to do so. It is imperative that you chose a reputed, long-established brand when choosing a supplier for your USB drive.
