The USB memory stick provides several types of promotional materials for the Snickers brand, including several short video clips that comprise the Snickers “Office Hunger Challenge,” discount coupons only available through the promotion, and a brand development story booklet.

Sales in Just One Store increased by 28% during the promotion period as a direct result of sending out the USB sticks (the messaging and the “creative design” of the USB sticks created a large amount of conversations, and subsequently sharing via social media).

The strategy used in this promotional campaign was to give away the USB sticks and link the stick to the Snickers brand product by providing links to other relevant types of media (e.g., Snickers’ brand messaging).

i.e., Custom engraving on the USB sticks was done with the specific name of the company and logo. This created an even higher level of exclusivity for our customers who received them.
